@SUB-FT86 what lip kit do you have? I like the rear spats.

New here! Bought a new 2015 Hot Lava MT-6 FRS in VA last week since my lease on my oh so lovely 2nd RAV4 was up and as an early b-day present to myself. Drove it back to mid-valley California (quite the break in). Never owned a manual or driven one for more than 30 minutes, so I'm still learning but must say I'm in love with this beauty. Pics forthcoming after work. Cheers!

Well, OK .... if you insist.

I'd suggest an LS engine swap ....... then just upgrade stuff as stuff breaks .......

CONGRATULATIONS and WELCOME!

So, you bought your new FR-S in Virginia and you live in Fresno ...... ??

(what's the "rest of the story" on that) .. ??

Well, at least you should be experienced at shifting by now .....

Thanks!

As for the reasoning.....Had a family member who used to work at the dealership back there, got a very good deal and all aftermarket stuff (spoiler/mudflaps/audio etc....) at cost. That and the CA taxes and fees are insanely high. Maintaining a residence back in VA has its perks for stuff like this =)

Just joined... And just purchased a 2013 FR-S Ultramarine with just under 12K miles! I LOVE IT!! Been looking at getting one since they first came out. Now it's time to do a BUNCH of reading on this forum (during work hours of course :-) ). Cheers!

Oh we have a strong 'no forum at work' rule here.
No, wait, I have that backwards.
Read up and enjoy but more importantly drive the car loads before deciding what you want to do to it. My thoughts changed dramatically between what I had read here and the reality of driving the car.

LOL! Agreed! I am going to wait a bit before I make any changes because I absolutely LOVE IT the way it is! For the moment...

Question... How many posts do I have to have before the "thanks" button appears?

Hello Nada Prada,

there's a dedicated post for Belgium owners here:
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15877

...since you showed interest in meeting other Belgians who drive a GT86

I reckon ol @Tcoat has one computer and monitor locked onto this forum ..... his other computer, which is smaller and slower, is dedicated to whatever he is supposed to be doing while at "work" .....
