This last week has been a complete nightmare for me ...asked a local shop to install my intercooler upgrade kit onto my existing non ic and moto flex fuel kit and has the P0171 bank 1 too lean. I replaced both of the plastic fitting behind the blower with the brass bspt and tightened them as much as we can but the rpm is still increase when we spray some brake cleaner ...
I want to split open the blower again and reseal them using red permatex silicone around the edges where the bolts are , do you guys think it's a good idea ? Really need some input at this point ... Thanks guys |

Varis vented hood with rainguards looks like a good option.
Not sure if I should be going with or without the NACA duct with the supercharger though. The more air the better I would think. Last edited by Chad86; 04-14-2015 at 12:05 AM. Reason: grammar |

Hey everyone, here to announce the official release of version 8.83 of our Innovate tunes for intercooled systems.
From 8.65, 8.83 offers the following improvements: Improved traction control algorithms specifically for the Innovate kit in Flex Fuel and pump gas variations. Tunes support anything from a 69-75mm pulley without changing the tune. More low end torque, specifically 10-15ft-lbs from 2500-4500 rpm. Smoothed out acceleration on the very low end, 1500-2500rpm range. Version 8.83 of the Innovate tune will be a paid update, requiring a service fee of $65 to update from 8.65, available here: http://www.delicioustuning.com/service_work PSA on the side: Common issues if you're experiencing problems with your car: Poor Idle, Acceleration, Prone to Stalling: The plastic fittings on the back of the supercharger are leaking, guaranteed. If there is ANY movement of the fittings at all, there is a vacuum leak causing the problem. You need to remove the manifold in order to tighten the fittings enough to fix the leak; it is recommended to replace with quality brass fittings at this time. If these leaks are not fixed, this can cause preemptive engine damage. The next potential cause of the above issue are the bolts that connect the supercharger to the intake manifold. These bolts are known to break, or not be torqued down enough and cause leaks again. This will also cause engine damage if not addressed. Poor Throttle Response, Loss of Power, Lean AFR: Where the OEM airbox connects to the Innovate/Sprintex intake tube, directly after the MAF sensor, the clamp provided is quite often overtorqued, which causes the plastic intake tube to deform and skew airflow after the MAF sensor. Car will cold start okay, but after 15-45 seconds when the car switches to port injection at idle, the car dies and won't start again: Please make sure you switched over the rubber injector grommets from the OEM intake manifold onto the Innovate/Sprintex manifold. Without the grommets, the injectors cannot seal, causing a major vacuum leak. The only reason the vehicle is able to run at all in this condition is when direct injection is operating alone. I know these problems and solutions may have been presented before, but I thought it'd be nice to compile them together and put it in the latest section of the thread here. Sincerely, Zach Delicious Tuning |

Also, why is this a paid update where 8.70 wasn't charged for? |

Version 8.70 or 8.75 were never an official release but more of an test bed over 8.65 for a couple who wanted to try out the changes we were working on. If you have an issue with one of these tunes we recommend reverting back to 8.65 as this has been a very reliable tune for over half a year now for literally everyone around the world. As for the stumble/dip, it looks as though there are only a handful (3 from what I can tell) that have this issue. We have not experienced this particular issue on our in house development vehicle (13 BRZ Manual) running a inter-cooled stage 2 package with 75mm, or 69mm pulley on 91 or E85. Maybe this was specifically on auto's or maybe a small vacuum leak since this is usually a tell tale sign of a vacuum leak. The new version 8.83 is a paid update because we now maintain a database of over 250 customers on this kit and have been offering free updates for nearly 2 years. At this time it is just not feasible to provide each customer their specific custom features set at no charge: Custom features sets that are unique to each tune we maintain: 1. FlexFuel Upgrade 2. FlexFuel Input for Rear O2 or CPC 3. E85 Transition Maps 4. Launch Control 5. Auto-Blip 6. Flat Foot Shifting 7. Per Gear Rev Limit 8. Traction Control 9. 91-100 Octane or RON fuels 10. Cold Air Intakes 11. Exhaust System 12. Throttle Control (Soft to Drag) 13. Valet Mode Cheers, William Knose Delicious Tuning |

I did. And the rpm still going up Everytime i spray the brake cleaner around the fitting .
Most likely the blower will be split apart again this weekend, I think that the best option. Called mike@moto , and he said the car is should be okay to drive around, but I'm still worry if it'll do more damage to the engine . |

Put brass fittings with Teflon on them and then put rtv sealant around the outside. No more leaks

Nah. I just used a black rtv that comes from a pressurized can. It's used to make head gaskets so it can easily take the heat. Got it from advance auto, although I don't remember the name of it.
