Hi everyone,

Picked up my '15 FRS (Firestorm, 6MT) up this last weekend. Couldn't be happier with it so far

Already needs a wash because it was raining like crazy as I drove it off the lot, but such is life.

On to planning out what mods I'm going to make....I'm sure my wallet will be thrilled...oh well

WELCOME and CONGRATULATIONS ....... Snurtles ......

Mods? Here are some ideas ......

I suggest you take your machine down Highway 94 to see how it handles on some winding roads; maybe stop in for lunch (weekends) at the "Silly Goose" in Augusta ......

Prepare to "get told" to save your money or spend it on continuing education or pay off debts or save for a down payment on a house.

But, you have heard all that before. Like Mark Twain said "My father was an amazing man. The older I got, the smarter he got."

Your call about a trade .....

Thankfully I'm working full time and plan on taking over the family company. I did take the business classes I needed to take the company though. Any ways I'm just so tired of seeing Stangs everywhere. That being said I plan on owning a shelby when I'm older.
But I wouldn't mind autocrossing, tracking, maybe even drifting for fun.
But I'm thinking a manual 13 or 14 is for me. I can afford the financing.

Good plan!

Well, then, just "go for it" .......

Some say to stay clear of the 2013 model year cars due to minor first year ploblems. However, I've driven my 2013 for 2 years and haven't had ANY problems with it. My car doesn't even have the "crickets" ..... well, at least, I can't hear them .....

Hi - I was a fan of the BRZ/FRS from inception, but wanted to wait a while while the new car gremlins work out. Anyway, I just got a new 2015 crystal white brz and it is awesome! I drove the 2015 WRX, and while very quick, I still preferred the BRZ. The car will ultimately replace my daily driver and backup autocrosser, a 2004 Mazda 3. I have a Perrin resonated catback and inlet on the way!!!

Hey guys,
I've been lurking on the forums for a while, doing research etc, but just signed for an frs yesterday. I was thinking of holding out to see if they would release a limited edition for '16 but I managed to find a raven monogram series with 6MT sitting on a dealer lot and snatched it up.
I used to have a '90 rx7 gxl that I loved. I think the frs is probably the closest thing to a modern fc, without the electrical gremlins and rust of a 25 year old car of course. Can't wait to get my hands in it.

Hello everybody,

I just recently graduated college with my BS in Engineering, landed a great paying job before graduation, and decided to buy my first manual and new car.

My 2015 Hot Lava FRS 6MT

Picked her up a little over 2 weeks ago. Already ordered a Perrin drop in filter and a frameless rearview mirror.

Coming from a E46 BMW, I really like the community at E46Fanatics and Bimmerforums and looks like I found a new home here with FT86 Club

I'm here to learn and share in the enjoyment of owning one of the twins.

Woot! More Lavas. We are on the rise! (I hope but not likely)
