I'm pleasantly surprised with the Scion, after getting REALLLLY annoyed reading the marketing BS. Like seriously pissed off reading that crap...

Obviously it needs some 'productionizing/de-concepting', but overall it's between the Mk1 and the Mk2 for me.

If I rate the Mk1 a 10/10, and the Mk2 a 6/10, I would put the Scion at an 8.5/10.

I'm satisfied also with the semi-official engine specs being a 2.0L and having DS4.

Dragon, I guess I'm going to be joining you as a Scion owner, unless the Subie kicks some SERIOUS ass. (kinda embarrassing after all the smack I talked... oh well...)

Its usually the first part of Jan 2012. Probably something like the 13th, 14th, 15th. This years was around that same time. They have yet to announce the dates for 2012.

Doesn't hurt to dream about what your car would look like with all the little mods you can add to it. :P..

seats.. tints.. turbo.. etc. Ya know.

In my case... +10HP for custom artwork and pink rims. (SORRY ICHI I HAD TO SAY IT AGAIN! lol)

It's all good. Just think, if this is the Toyota/Scion version, the Subie version shouldn't be anything but full of WIN as well. I just think the Subie version will cost more. I keep telling myself I'm going to hold out a year after the release of the car before buying it. I might push that back to 6months instead....

I agree. I want to wait around a year or so to make sure QA catches evrything major and all the issues are tweaked. Ultimately I think it will come down to what kind of performane the Toyota/Scion has vs Subaru before I make a decision. I just never like to buy version 1/ first year of a new product (electronics, cars...etc.).
