How is it dumb? It's painter's tape? It doesn't leave anything on the car... and you can simply wipe the area the tape was on down with a quick detail spray just in case.

I've put tape on mine before and it never had any negative effects on the paint.

Exactly! That's what I did on a 700+ mile road trip just to be on the safe side. Sure it looked dumb and took a while to do but IMO it was worth it. And with how thin our paint is apparently I would rather be safe then sorry lol

Anybody else got suggestion for good quality hid kits? I'm on ddm tuning and there is all theses options for a harness,error eliminator, adapter etc

Wanted to know if all that is necessary?
