Broken rods seem to be the thing here. Based on what I understand, a FA24 isn't going to be better in regards to stronger rods. If you were NA and going to stay NA then the FA24 would be a no-brainer. If you're FI then it seems like a forged rods/pistons is the play no matter which one you choose.
