Never had it dyno'd. After driving stock with filter for a year, then with perrin exhaust last year with stage 1 tune, and finally with current set up, much more difference than stock, with a WRX type low end growl. ( not too loud. )

Hi my names Izzy. I'm 22, from San Luis Obispo, California and just bought a wrecked automatic frs. I would have preferred a manual but this was such a good deal I couldn't resist. For now I'm probably just going to fix it up and drive it for a while until I can safely sell it and get a manual. But who knows, I might just like the auto...
Btw, my history with cars include an '01 Toyota Celica Gt and an '09 scion tc. I just realized how much of a toyota fanboy I look like right now lol.
In my defense other cars I was considering were a 350z/370z, g35/g37, s2000 or last gen is350.
Can't wait to hop into this forum and mod the crap out of my car. Maybe one day I can get the sexy rocket bunny body kit

Took another stock FRS guy for a test drive last week and the first word was GEEEZUUS!!!!!
Thanks for the tips, still in debate about go hks front pipe or OFT tune for next mod, I guess it's not that easy to decide. Primary goal is to make the car has better response on higher gear low rpm like 2.5 to 3.5k rev range and partial throttle response.

Hello.
I am about 4 days in my 2013 FRS. I've had quite a few different cars before, most recently a modded Volvo S40 T5 AWD which was in need of $4000+ in repairs so I got rid of it.

I picked up a 2013 FRS with just about 26k miles. Has some mods too: Greddy Intake, Invidia exhaust, Seibon carbon hood and spoiler.. some terrible things, to me, like under glows (I ripped that out already), wheels that don't do the car justice, and bad paint jobs on some parts which I need to fix still.

So far I am enjoying it. I like the car. I like how it feels. I like the sound. I can't wait to take it out to the mountains.

Hi

Been a lurker for some time and finally registered.
I have been saving for a long time to buy a car I truly wanted and a few days ago I purchased a 2015 Ultramarine FR-S. It has been a ton of fun to drive a car that you can throw into corners as all of my past cars have been SUVs. I ended up going automatic (still getting a ton of flak from my friends on this even though none of them drive stick....) and don't regret it at all.

In the near future I'm looking to get a K & N filter and the OFT. After that I would like to do the exhaust. FI would be the ultimate goal but since it is my DD and i'm still not sold on the reliability I doubt that will happen.

Mainly on the forums just to see what other people have done to theirs and looking for any advice I can find.

I DD as well and originally was planning FI but after a couple of weeks decided I could live without it just fine. May cause an issue if I ever come across Vin Diesel but so far I have always managed to go as fast as I need/want to.

Same here, although I still lust after the Cosworth Stage 2 supercharger whenever it's posted. Originally, I had planned to do it about right now as the warranty just ran out but now I'd rather spend the money on other expensive hobbies.

I may still do that when I move the 86 out of DD status in a few years but probably not while its my DD.

New to the forum

Hey guys! Just got my 2013 Hot lava FRS two weeks ago, been spending way to many hours on this forum getting ideas of how to spend my money! Love the FRS so far, its starting to warm up in Northeast Ohio and driving through the winding roads of our metro parks is my idea of a great weekend!

Hello from Iowa!

I'm newer to this forum. I've been lurking around and reading up on everything I can for the past couple of days. I'm currently in a 2006 Mazda RX-8 with a fresh engine (less than 10,000 miles). But I have to say, this car really has my attention!

I've been checking out all of your awesome builds throughout the forum and I'm really leaning towards trying to sell my car this summer in hopes that I can get an FR-S. Looking forward to learning from everyone who has been around and contributed so much good information to these threads.

p.s. - Where does Iowa fit in in the regional forums? Haven't seen much action from this state... Just like every other forum.

Greetings from Guam

Thanks for the birthday greeting! At 48 I may be the oldest guy who drives a Scion FR-S. I have the 2014 white model and couldn't love it any more. I traded in a BMW X5 for this car and have never looked back. I'll probably get the Syder headlights and taillights next. Also, I might do something with the rims, but I'm not sure yet. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
