I liked the facelift from the moment I saw it. But then again I was always a fan of fishmouth grills and what not.

autoblog reporting from the NAIAS that the 2013 genesis will make 348hp/296ft-lb up from 306/266.. definitely just renewed my interest.

I'm more interested in the turbo 4, 274/275. Definitely going to have to test drive that. Curious to see what they both weigh too.

This fascia is growing on me as well. Hated it at first, now I'm starting to like it. Then again, when the 2006 STi's came out, I thought they were the ugliest car made, now they're my favorite bodystyle of Impreza. Looking forward to testdriving the new track edition i4 GenCoupe when it's available.

still hate the front but don't want to puke anymore

I really like the new Veloster Turbos face if only the grill could be something more like that

Only down side currently I can see is Autoblog is saying that both the turbo4 and the v6 will be keeping the same 6 speed stick

The Genesis Coupe...

Despite this, im seriously considering it because im afraid the FRS/BRZ is gonna be too much like my experience with the old ae86. Slow, under performing, annd over hyped. The gencoupe is ugly as sin but at least its got some balls now, but if the frs price is right...

They are going to weigh between 3400~3600lbs, very heavy but they are claiming better power to weight ratio than the gt86

3,294lbs for the 2.0T and 2,389lbs for the V6. I've heard the weight may slim down with the changes to the interior. But still, with the new V6 having 345hp it has a better to weight ratio than a stock TT Supra and even matches the new 370Z (plus the GC has 4 seats). It will also have better improved sport suspension over the old GC.

The new 2013 will be a monster.

I think the facelift is hideous. I'd take the engine upgrades in the old bodystyle though.

From their website, the 2.0t will go from 3,362-3,554lbs and the 3.8 goes from 3,433-3,613.

You're right, interesting. I've seen several numbers over the past few weeks but those are definitely official. About 100lbs more than expected, still not that bad if you go for the light-weight versions.

Hence why I didn't buy the GC and never will. Nearly 200lbs added negates the power increase. It's no longer a pig, it's a Hog.

100? 192lbs is the difference.
