There are just to many people waiting on this car for it to sit for a couple of years without some instant developments.

Seeing as how it's a sports car, I would imagine the accessories from the Scion dealer would cater a little more on the performance side of things. At least that's what I would like to see.
Don't get me wrong, all the big aftermarket companies are quick to make aftermarket parts but I was stating that it maybe a while before we see a riced out FR-S.

Just like any dealership, their aftermarket parts are very limited and bland to say the least; exhaust tips, basic wheels, wheel locks, shift knobs, pin stripe kits etc.

Ha! That would require a LOT of work to do....aside from that, I wouldn't dare turn it back to just a Daily. I love it on the track.

Bahahaa....Naw, tC is paid for, so no need to sell her. And can't get rid of the woman, that's just a given...lol.

And like you, I'm starting a new job as well. The dollars are abundant enough to say the least. I'm going to get me a GSXR in the mean time while I wait for this. Just for the sake of having something new to play with.

We already know the real car isn't going to have all that carbon fiber or come with 20" rims and 18" fixed rotors. It probably won't even have all those LEDs in the headlights.

I can't believe toyota was touting their engine technology being applied to the boxer for increased power and then providing a power figure.

The car looks good except for the rear scion badge but then again the production car isn't going to look like that. We're going to get compromises at every corner if not to please the dull execs at Toyota then they will be to cut costs.

It's hard to get excited about anything until we see the real thing in Tokyo.
I agree completely. Don't get me wrong, I like each iteration of the concept car but it is getting kind of old. I'm ready for complete specs on the car.

You guys don't seem to grasp how much work he put into his tC do ya?
Plus you're looking at it wrong, if he keeps the 86 as his daily he'll drive it more often .

And FT-86GOD, you're assuming that he CAN get rid of his wife .

Love the new design. Rear diffuser must go or atleast be made much smaller. larger rear view mirrors would help too.

i would say there is, a normal trunk opening seems too small for this no matter how you look at it

If it's not a hatch, then it would defeat the statement about being able to load tires for the track.

People need to stop bitching about concepts I rather have Toyota show me something to base my car and what I want to do with it every couple months. While its kinda like "hurry up and sell this thing already" at least it generates excitment and interest (something thats been lacking in Toyota new era) from the enthusiasts POV and besides I much rather have scraps of info to piece together than none at all. (looking at you Subaru)

While I do like the MK1 the most (I feel the same way you do Hachi but with the MK1) this blends both the subtle sexyness of the mk1 and the agressive look at me style of the mk2 into a pretty damn sexy mk3.

I hope someone from Toyota reads this and makes note of one important thing.

This is the best design yet IMO. Tone down the rear bumper aero and exhaust shape and put practical wheels and brakes and that is all you'd need to change. It is a super sleek design.

I'm pumped for subaru's version. I really hope it has a turbo.
