Anyone here of asian descent, drives a charcoal brz with front plate relocation, who lent their whip to their mother this morning? Lady was killing it in the left lane on 409.

Man, i dont know what it is but no offence, BRZ drivers DO not want to acknowledge you or even wave back. But FR-S drivers, yup they wave, nod their head and appreciate me spotting them

I have a BRZ and I wave!

But I also never come to Scarbaria...so that doesn't really help you.

I personally find it's 50/50 for both makes. My trick is to always look for mods on the car that I've spotted. I find someone in a modified car is way more likely to be an actual enthusiast, and more likely to notice other cars on the road, and therefore more likely to wave back. I have a much higher percentage of wave-backs from modified cars vs stock vehicles.

Case in point; an older guy in a firestorm FR-S that I saw yesterday afternoon in Bolton. I was right beside him in traffic, even got ahead of him for a bit, so there's no way he wouldn't have noticed me if he was paying attention. He got up beside me again and I looked over, expecting SOMEthing. Nope; he didn't even look. Absolutely zero acknowledgement.

I try and wave if I see either a FRS/BRZ early enough, but last three were like a dud. Wave to a STI guy and get a wave back!

Then sometimes I'm in auto pilot after work as my brain is sooooo fried so I might not see the wave. When's Friday is what I say first thing Monday morning. LOL.

I stick my hand right out the window and throw a VERY obvious peace sign lol. Then I see the window rolling down and a hand come out quickly to give me one back

I got a BRZ too and I usually nod or wave. But I agree, there are a lot of people who don't want to join the twins brotherhood. And I feel sad at that moment, coz I think these are the people who do not like to have fun with this car, to realize that its not just a cool looking grocery getter!!!

I think that's just it; there's quite a few people out there who bought this car for the looks alone, or maybe a "mid life crisis" purchase, who really don't care much about the "community" or "brotherhood".

I don't think it's so much that they don't WANT to join the "brotherhood"; they just maybe don't even know that it exists!

To them, they're driving just another car.

And I bet those are the people that are confused AF when we wave at them.

Ive had my car for a month by the time we ran into each other. A month of driving everyday, seeing atleast 1 twin everyday. You were the first one that ever waived back to me! Props homie! No, I do not have a pikachu on my dash, but i do know theres another yellow brz lurking around in Scarlem. That was me at Pho Metro! I hate that parking lot cuz its so narrow...

Spotted a red 86 on 401 east near Kennedy around 7:40AM today.

Saw a yellow BRZ on Hurontario today. Also saw a grey FRS beside SQ1. You said nice car to me and we raced to the next light haha
