Shit like this always seems to take way longer and require more energy than when you visualize it in your head.

Granted, part of it is having the right tools for the job, which I clearly did not.

Anyway, moving on. Will get the Fujitsubo canisters cleaned up this week and hopefully be able to sell them locally.
that was your problem. anything i'm doing for myself, i dedicate nearly full days to.

cleaning my home office room? 1 day.

cleaning the cars? 1 day.

So... I had sold my BRZ to a Subaru dealership. It was heavily implied they knew the car was modified. Yesterday I got a text saying they didn't know and asked if I had the oem parts as they need them to sell the car. I don't have the oem parts because I never thought I'd just up and sell the car, let alone them wanting it back to normal. So now I have to reacquire stock headers and an over pipe. If I do that, that means I need to flash the car back to the stock tune and remove the flex fuel kit I had on there. If I can flash it, and take the aftermarket parts, we good, but I'm a hot little potato they waited so long before they said something.

Wait....you did WHAT.

I got you man. I can send you my stock OP and even the rest of the exhaust if you need it.

Edit: had to go to your old posts and realized why. It sucks. But my offer still stands, I can send you my OEM OP. No need to pay. Shipping should be fairly cheap too.

MF. LMFAO. I literally found and bought both pieces right after posting that rant. But thanks for the offer brother, I appreciate it!

So they never looked under the car, or under the hood, or AT the car.

I don’t think that dog hunts.

Will they give you the aftermarket parts as "exchange"?

So, it sounds like all of that is their problem...

That's where I was thinking about just giving them the stock exhaust since I already bought it and let them deal with the tune, but I also don't want to deal with the headache of them trying to call me up and blaming me for the motor blowing. Especially if they try to run the stage 2 tune with stock headers. However, on the sales receipt it did state that the emissions system wasn't tampered with so...

I would highlight this, send them a copy and tell them they were told. Not your problem.
