My wife's late uncle Morris was a physics professor and a viceroy dean at Brown. Not a bad state unless you're into size.

What they would do is concentrate wealth, income, and access to resources to a small number of ultra rich people and make wages stagnant, make housing expensive, make the cost of products expensive, etc. Two people would have to work so much that they didn't have the time to raise kids. They don't have the place to raise kids. Capitalism would be their tool to get this done like playing Monopoly, they know in time capitalism leads to a concentration of wealth. Abortions don't result in people having less children. If they have an unexpected kid and don't have an abortion then it will count towards the two or three they plan to have. When they have an abortion, they still plan to have two or three later. Majority (75%) of people having abortions are poor, so maybe we should work on universal income (UBI).

Isn't the bottom line of this that Tesla is betting on the residual value at the end of the lease being high enough at a max 30K miles that the lease price can be lower?
I agree Tesla prices have dropped significantly but I'm not sure this comparison is completely "fair".

Frankly the interior is even worse than the exterior. The exterior is quirky, but I like quirky, although I'm not sure I like THIS quirky. As a UTE I think it's OK. It's not a truck though.

I think the prices are lower because they want to liquidate old inventory before the TM3 Highland gets released. Demand is down with everyone knowing the Highland is dropping soon. The drop in prices reflect that, but there are still government incentives that make buying before they might expire at the end of the year enticing. I think the resale value of leased M3s is going to be bad after the Highland drop, so that theory probably doesn't account for the price drop. Overall, prices are still high from the COVID spike, so they can drop, and maybe Tesla can afford to drop them more because of their higher margins and because of how they manage their supply chain. In general, the car continues to gain in battery size and features while dropping in price, which isn't bad, but they do continue to lop off pieces of the car (turn signals). Weight reduction to the extreme. In the long term, the car should follow Wright's Law and drop more relative to inflation.
