Just leased a 2015 Firestorm Scion FR-S Manual last week with the following options:
  • Rear Lip Spoiler
  • LED Accent Lighting
  • BeSpoke Premium Audio
  • Scion Premium Security
  • Rear Cargo Mat
  • Connectivity Kit
  • Vehicle Protection Premium Package
My initial impression is that this is probably the best handling street car I've ever driven, even while driving at sensible speeds to break the car in. The suspension is far more compliant and comfortable than I expected, and yet the front end is so sharp, responsive, and composed that it's much closer in feel to a racing car than another other street cars I've driven before, including a Corvette C6 and a Ferrari F430 Scuderia. My FR-S came with the Michelin Primacy HP tires, so I can't imagine what it feels like with even better rubber. The short throw shifter and narrow shift gates are also reminiscent of old racing gearboxes. The driving position is just about perfect, and the seat is very supportive and comfy as well.

The only issues so far are mostly cosmetic as far as I can tell. There's quite a bit of scratches on the paint at many places when observing under lights at certain angles. I'm guessing that was done by the guy applying the paint sealant at the port. There's a also a small but noticeable chip on the dash panel for some reason. I also don't think the navigation is working quite right. The BeSpoke Premium Audio was supposed to be installed at the port, but the salesman told me that they ran out of the unit at the port, so the car came in with standard audio, and it was swapped out at the dealer with another car that had the premium audio (I forgot to ask him whether that other car is MY14 or MY15).

All in all, quite pleased with the car so far. I really look forward to driving this car for the next 3 years.

Been a lurker for a few weeks, finally signed up and got my account approved! Been driving an Asphalt FR-S for about a year now and have some mods done. Will put up a build thread when I get pics downloaded from camera.

Hey all, first post here, lurked for a little while to get to know a little bit more about the car.

Anyways, onto the exciting stuff. I recently (On Dec 9) picked up my 2015 FR-S in Halo. I love it, I get looks everywhere I go in it and I just still can't quite get over how nice it is.

Looking forward to getting to know you guys and girls on here, and hopefully I can learn a thing or two!

As for the car, it's absolutely stock. However I have a catback exhaust, coilovers, rain visors, fog lights, a Grimmspeed plate relocation kit and considering the Buddy Club tails. Looking to also get an interior LED light kit and probably some new wheels to go along with everything come spring time

New here! I'm from Toronto, Ontario I've been going around this site for ages, thinking one day I will purchase an FRS. And I did! But it had to be a special one for me. So I got the 2015 Release Series 1.0! My first new car and I'm glad I made the purchase =)

Hello everyone! My second GT86 is coming in a few days (some stuff happened..) and I'm pretty excited I just have one question. Mine's going to come in full leather seats, no alcantara, just leather. That's the way it's offered here. Anyway, I was wondering if that's going to be an issue while let's say I go on a track day or push the car a little bit? Maybe I'll slide a bit too much because of the leather seats.

Greetings and Salutations,

I am a newfound auto enthusiast who gleefully accepted his 2014 Whiteout FR-S Nov 2013.

I have passionately driven my Hachi8FR-Z6Roku for a year now and my love (87.9%) outweighs any “problems” I’ve experienced.
Pros:
–SexAppeal –Fun -Affordable –FuelEco –Uniqueness –ModHungry DreamMachine
Cons:
-Thin Paint –(Thinking. . . . . .) –Crickets(TSB pending) –Midrange power(Cat. Del UEL Headers pending)

This car is mine, I plan to push its limits and pray it last as long as my 15 year old Civic. I can’t wait to pervert my 86 with some simple performance goodies.

Currently rocking: -TRD CatBack D Tiped Dual Exhaust –Sebion Twill Carbon Fiber Gloss Coat License Plate

Must F*CKING have:
-Tint –Mishimoto or Perrin Induction Hose –K&N drop in filter –FIVE:AD rear spoiler –UEL headers –TRD Coilovers

My 86 has me looking forward to my commute every time. I’ve had way too much fun in this car, I mean like ERMAHGERD JEHRZZED ERN MEHR PERHNTS. wow.

I’ve consumed a lot of material on this site, and it has been a fun pastime fantasizing about future upgrades. Thank you to all the forum members who have made this a great resource and community.
