Because having the tailights running isnt illegal, but having the side markers on constantly might be. Since they're usually used to signal a turn. I know I'm not used to seeing other cars with side markers constantly on.

And people are not used to seeing tail lights on during the day and could lead to confusion about someone braking constantly (that is until the person actually applies the brakes). Its a circular argument that can be discussed ad nausem. The point is, anytime you start messing with the lights on vehicles you need to be careful. Turning lights off that should be normally on and turning others on when they should be off leads to situations that might make you liable in the event of an accident if investigated.

The whole point of this module is to turn on the boomerangs (which serve no purpose other than aesthetics) while the DRL's are on. Running with your tail lights on but not your headlamps and sidemarkers and stating its for visibility concerns doesn't make sense. If you are concerned about people seeing you, then turn on your headlamps (and as a result, all other lights).

Uhh ok, fair enough? We all realized that was getting off topic anyway, and yea its not the purpose of this mod.

Holy crap. I've never seen so many people in one thread that need to learn to have some patience.
