I get mine Monday and plan on installing it on Monday night Tuesday morning. I will definitely post the fitment of mine to add to the thread.

That is bizarre, mine is almost perfect. I just went out and poked around on mine after reading these posts and it does make sense that if there is any variance in the midpipe, which is on the left where the axle back bolts on that it is throwing that right side out since it is one solid piece and that is the furthest point away.

Mine also does move around quite a bit with the stock rubber hangers. I tried pushing and pulling mine around to see if I could make it look like those in the pictures. If I really pull on it, I can get the right side to move around a bit, but not quite to the extent in the picture.

I wonder how even/square the factory exhaust is/was on the cars that are having this issue? It could be off a bit stock and I doubt anyone would really notice since it is back inside the bumper. Hmmm wish I still had my stock one to toss on and check.

I don't imagine the axleback makes any power and it was a cold night on the dyno last night. If you want information on weather beyond what's provided, just look up Mach V's location (45690 Elmwood Court Sterling, VA 20166) for sea level etc.

Anyway, here's the plot.

Regarding the fitment issue i know when i put on the tips i bought in the classifieds (audi style not jdm) that when they were installed and even you could see more of the factory tip on the inside of the tip on one side.

I think some are uneven from the factory just like my right rear camber was off also, probably has to do with how they are strapped down on the way over here.

That quote is from my owners journal. From what I'm reading, it sounds like there may be some variance in the factory flange angles. Check your factory tips before pulling the muffler. If mine was off before replacement, it wasn't obvious as the factory tips are inset much further.

Since the exhaust has had time to settle into place, a minor fitment issue has come up. I emailed Nameless some pics this am. I'm confident it will be addressed professionally & will post more info after I receive a response.

Didn't hear back after two business days, so I re-sent the pics to the other boss there. Got a quick response, explaining that they are working on the issue, and offering to repair the system while I was passing through Washington. Variances in the stock midpipe was cited as the cause. After explaining that the ~400 mile side trip would wreck my already tight schedule, I was told they are sending some of their urethane hangers to try and help the issue, and to let them know if that didn't work, to which I skeptically agreed. I'm relatively sure sure the brand new stock hangers are not the issue, and personally feel that's a bandaid approach. I any case, I won't be able to install the hangers until after my road trip. The fit issue is that the right tip extends ~8mm further out than the left, with the left side AB hangers both resting rearward of the chassis hangers. It seems that the right side is being levered rearward by the flange and left side hangers. Since the issue is not mechanically critical, I'm opting for patience.

Nameless Axleback Update
Spoke with John @ Nameless yesterday. My AB unit will be replaced with a new unit, possibly with a braided flex coupler to alleviate stresses caused by variances in the factory midpipe flange angle. He plans to have several cars in for test fitting and proceed from there. They will cover shipping of both units. The unit I have now will be modified and put up for sale on their site as used at a discount.

Thanks for doing that.
It's hard to see but did they adjust the right hand pipe to pull that one back in line?
