Once in a while they would be a bit too mature and the feathers would get in the way.

For the perfect finish after an excellent meal of balut

Follow up with a nice drink of Habu Saki

Yes I have eaten and drank the above, both are fantastic.

Given the option a carrot looks damn good!

Could I wrap the carrot with bacon and it still count?

Probably the only way you could get me to eat a cooked carrot though. Raw I love but cooked are horrid.

Balut is very unique stuff... I tried it once & that's all I'll ever do.

As for Habu-shu, that some strong ass alcohol. You can only get it in Okinawa & limited amount too.

Interesting process:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Habushu

I'd like to dedicate the below excerpt to our good buddy @Cole .....

"Appreciated since ancient times, habushu is believed by some to have medicinal properties. A habu [the snake] can go without eating anything for as long as a year and still have immense energy. Another desired trait that is thought to be passed on is the positive effect on the male libido. A habu snake is able to mate for as long as 26 hours, which causes some to believe that a drink of habushu may help sexual dysfunction in men.[6] A common superstition is that these strengths are passed on to those who drink habushu.

And here I thought the worm in the bottle of tequila was pushing it .....

I don't like when it lasts longer than 10 minutes because I'm so out of shape. The hell would I do for 26 hours?!?!
