There are two morals here, Ocean Girl. One, the obvious parable of shiny on the outside, but the same where it matters most.

Two, is that I didn't know this until today, and nobody told me. I was looking at the Tiffany watch to potentially buy, and through my own research identified the original source movement. Because I wanted to learn more about watchmaking, valuation, encasing and the private label stuff I was talking to 7thgear in the other thread. Because I'm a nerd and love learning. Cars, manufacturing, art, technology, watches, whatever.

And how I look or how people think I dress, or whatever, doesn't have a single fucking effect on that and I know it.
