I've been conditioning the crap out of the batteries, but I am definitely not apposed to doing more!

Has anyone tried putting a Coupler->Small Open Element air filter on the ESC? Heat soak would probably kill it, but I wonder if we could hear more of that sweet 'woosh'...

I have no doubt in my mind that you would definitely hear an increased sound with say a 'pod' filter attached to the intake on the supercharger. But like you said, heat would be a factor. Airboxes do a decent job of reducing intake noises like induction and compressors etc.
I mucked around with this on my old turbo car. It was fun to hear the turbo WAY louder than before, but inevitably, back to the airbox and snorkel.

Yup, right there with you. Forgot we'd have to drill out a mounting point for the MAF sensor, too.

I wish my AFR's were a little leaner like your guys. Pretty much as soon as i hit boost it bottom out the sensor at 11.15. should be a bit of power left on the table if i can get it a little leaner. Knock correction and ignition advance look pretty rock solid on my 94 oct up here

Wow, Fenton, that is crazy. You have the spike too but your spike is a few marks below everyone else. You must be running crazy rich.

There is some pretty serious backfire sometimes

I hope either it can be fixed via a updated tune for the tq300 or maybe we will just have to get shiv to e tune it since i am at a high altitude(+3600ft)

Speaking of the tq300, I haven't heard anything about it lately. Any new info with testing and such?

Shiv had one. At sea level it was producing too much power for the controller to handle reliably. It would work for a dyno run or two and then would shut down. It also requires at least 1.5 dump pack.

It works very well at my altitude but there is about 20-30 percent less load on it.

Shiv made 226hp and 205tq with dual dump on his standard 91 map I believe.

More research and tech have to be added to the controller before it will be a viable option for the masses.

But on the road, it didn't seem as responsive or quick to spool. Given a choice, I think the TQ250 is a better performer at this stage. Even ignoring the currently hungry aspects of the TQ300.

Looks like I'll have my 1.5 dump pack upgrade there next week! And I'll re-do the OTS maps accordingly. Both for gasoline and E85. I know lot of people are waiting so I'll try to do it as soon as possible.

Cheers,
shiv

Hey shiv. Any idea why my car runs so rich compared to everyone else?
