If you wanted to be hardcore you would use these as patterns to make molds for 2 piece composite pieces that could be used for pretty carbon fiber ones.

So soccer is now the second most popular sport for ages 12-24 right behind football.
Maybe Americans are getting closer to embracing soccer after all.

I've always enjoyed watching and even helped run the sidelines for my college team and belonged to the same fraternity as the players, but I don't get the whole "it's OK to have a game end in a tie" thing. Our local NASL team (which we go to most of the home games for) has a 7W 8T 12L record for the season and even the first place team has 7T in their record. Even worse, two the games we've attended have been 0-0 ties! Of course, a tie is infinitely better to me then "winning" based on a penalty shoot-out. I'd almost rather they flip a coin. OK, I'm done now.

Thinking of buying an FT86 as DD vehicle. Having trouble deciding. If the twins were each about 5k cheaper, this would be an absolute no brainer.

Then SPRAY ON FOAM. Sand it for curvature. Reinforce with fiberglass, or just be lazy and spray many many cans of clear coat on until there's so much acrylic on there that it's got some structural integrity to it. Similarly, spraying the inside with foam to make the "duct" structure shouldn't be too hard to do either although the sanding work gets more delicate. Maybe the easier route is just to have 100-200 odd k lying around and just buy a supercar with this shit designed into it already McLaren said they were making a more affordable car right? ![]() Seriously though, flying buttress C pillars are one of the coolest things ever. It lets you use less taper on the rear window glass for a wider range of view, it allows you to more or less match the side tapering of the C pillar to the side taper of the body, and it more closely matches together the velocities of the air flowing over the roof and the air flowing along the side when they meet. For a notchback window configuration, it's a total no brainer aside from the cost it takes to develop. But most importantly, scoops look badass. |
