The supercharger kit isn't causing them to go bad. They are a problem before the supercharger kit is installed and the supercharger kit causes them to be realized as a problem earlier than they would be if the car was left NA. This is the only explanation that makes any sense.

I just found out that the Spintex kit now comes with State road transport authority compliance/approval (in Western Australia). This is a big tick for me, and I might just have to go with this instead of the AVO. Compliance approval = car can be fully insured + cop friendly.

Not sure if this info has been posted, but I got an upgraded idler pulley for my SC from Innovate some time ago to replace the original that had failed.

Nice. How has that been holding up so far?

Just noticed they're manufactured by Dayco, which should be good quality stuff.

Funny you mention that, I've broken a belt although I don't think it was pulley related. Are you talking about the bearing that the pulley sits on?
