Hi everyone! Brand new here. I have to admit, I bought a car I knew nothing about. I just knew it looked cool and I wanted one for a couple years. So I got bored on a Monday afternoon about a month ago and thought hey, why don't I go test drive one? What do you know, they had one brand new 2013 Raven FR-S left sitting in the showroom at the front door. They offered me a deal I couldn't refuse (probably because it was a 13).

You can all laugh at me but when the salesman told me I needed to put in premium gas I literally said "WHAT?!" Yup, no idea. I've been reading and learning a lot lately. I went from an 09 Mazda3 to this. It's been a big learning curve. Looking forward to learning so much more and enjoying the hell out of my car!

Turbo should be WAY down the list.
Exhaust first then work up from there.

Hello everyone! Just picked a 2015 Ultra Marine Frs last week! I must say this will be my first RWD and I'm loving it. I'm looking forward to going through this forum and engage in as much info I can get on this car. Coming from the Honda scene for years of tuning and building them, this is refreshing start and I can't wait to tune and build on this frs.

Hello everyone long time lurker here, I have been looking at the FRS for a while still have yet to drive one as I am out of the country still. I am coming from a VW Rabbit and was gonna go for a GTI, but I am also tired of FWD. This forum has been a great help in choosing which car to go with. Cant wait to get back home and test drive some cars. Only problem is there arent much in my area. I am from the Kentucky/Tenn border area and there is only a few used in the area so I might be going for a new base model.

Was in Tennessee last month for work and wished I had my car there!
These cars are MADE for those roads!
Drove the Tail of the Dragon in a rental Corolla wishing all the time was my car!

So far I have an AEM intake, Five Ad spoiler, MTEC shift springs, Cusco cf strut bar, Winjet fog lights and Toyota emblems! Really excited for whats coming (:

Awesome my #1 choice of color! What made you go with a 15' instead of used? I only ask because I am considering the same. Sounds like someone is getting some boost, cant wait to see a build thread!

I got a '15 as well. I know there were a few sporadic DI seal issues and stuff with the 13s and I was in the financial position to get a new one so I figured if I wanted it to last me for the next few years I'd get the fresh one.

Suspension is different too, not as tail happy but for actual driving it's much better balanced. None of the reviews by actual professional drivers disliked the new setup, everything I read said it was much sharper and easier to control. I like it so far.

I'm staying away from FI for now on the personal advice of some people with a lot of racecar building experience, one of them tracks an frs and left it na for the near future.

I just wanted something shiny and new personally haha. Exhaust tips and slightly diff center console are nice.

Honestly wanted to go with the blue, but once I saw the Asphalt I fell in love! I was looking at used but pricing was around the same, so i figured financing a brand new one would be better. And def. looking into boost in the future
