PSS, but I am very biased against the Conti, from personal HPDE experience
fwiw, our SC car has Dunlops starspecs and the wifes DD will get the PSS treatment..

I'm looking into a few different hpde events do you have a suggestion for which one is the best for people just starting out?

Would the Pilot Super Sport tires in 225 size fit in the stock 17x7 wheels? Anyone know?

I think a 225 of any model would be safe on 7" wheels. Larger than that and a lot of street tires will start to lose effectiveness.

Anyone on here just bought a White FRS that works on Deer Valley next to Pork on a Fork? First one I've seen that is close to my work, and by that I mean right next door...

Yes, but why don't you go with Dunlop Star Specs, Hankook Z3, or the GF Goodrich Rival?
