Neither Mk I or Mk II is the final production version so it will be interesting what the true FT-86 enthusiasts as well as the other floating turds vote on.. Especially in the long run as im sure this thread will stay busy for a while...

The Mk II is obviously closer to the production version and as alot of others have said it will grow on them as im sure it will grow on me even with those huge Mercedes/RX8 style front wheel arches, vents and the crazy audi LED shit going on... LOL.......

But i will never agree that the Mk II tailights are better than that of the Mk I.

Those Mk I tailights are what got me so excited about an AE-86 resurrection in the first place... For me they somehow they expressed the whole idea and the lines where tuff.... Each to there own i guess....

When will they be showing the interior of the Mk II ???

Concept I for me just because I like the rear tail lights of concept I better.

I don't like the fender vents on concept II. Hate the rear lights. I would love to see concept II in a different color, minus fender vents, red tail lights, and maybe different wheels. I do like the look of the front (hood line, headlights) more than concept I though.

I would go with Mk II because of the new look. Granted, Mk I is cleaner and less agreesive, but that is that. The style of Mk II is like it is opening mouth on the front and back to bite other cars. It seems to me that eventually someone would take the Mk I and mod it into something like Mk II so why not to get it to begin with.

yeah it's a personal preference. i like natalie more than megan too, but that doesn't change the fact that megan is frickin hot

probably because it has some Subaru genetics in it. ever notice how whenever Subaru brings out a new model, it's always fugly at first, but then the more you look at it, the better it gets???
