More updates:

You can see how hard it is to line these edges up:

Now I just have to sew across that line. Not as easy as it sounds around the corners, but not bad.

Awesome work bud! !

I think i found the perfect red for the dash trim (polyurethane leather). Let me know if your still interested in taking on the project.

Cheers!

Thanks! I'm still having some problems getting perfect fitment.. I'm still working on my gluing.. so I'm still working on getting my methods right.
Honestly, I can't accept a project unless I am 100% sure the result it amazing. For example, I am not even happy with the project below. The seams on the front just aren't that great, so I am working on it.

Regardless, here's the new material. I think it is a million times better looking.

Left is padded.. so you don't see any lines from the seams.

I'd be happy with either one of those but the one on the left looks absolutely fantastic.

Where did you find that material and what kind is it? Is it a poly or vinyl leather? It looks like quality stuff.

The grain looks more factory. Is that correct?

This is a perfect example of how just a little motivation can result in something seriously great! Good work!
P.s - If you do end up selling anything I hope it's the cluster hood. I hit that!
