I really want this SC - just not sure if I want to spend such huge cash on it (paying in South African Rands is a little rougher than buying it in Dollar terms!!) |

Dyno's at all?
(Don't care about the actual HP number, but the % gains would be nice to see)

Review: Edelbrock Supercharger Kit
11/26/15 Update:
Last week I ordered up some oil cooler supplies in preparation for my track day tomorrow. Had a chance to build my oil cooler setup last night. Here are some pics! Parts: - Mocal Tstat Adapter - Setrab 619 Cooler - 10AN Black Nylon Hose - 10AN Vibrant Fittings (1-90, 3-45) - Scrap SS fashioned into brackets - Black gutter guard cut to cover bumper holes Originally I had planned on putting the cooler on the passenger side of the bumper as I didn't want to remove my washer tank. Well, after some yelling and pacing the garage, I decided to just put it on the driver side. Lines were nice and short, no pump in the way, and an excuse to build a smaller washer tank down the road. For those of you not following the ft86 page about this SC, I didn't want to mount in the center opening as it would interfere with airflow to the LTR. Install was pretty easy. The brackets I made all mounted to existing holes in things so I just cut up some scrap metal and sat it centered in the fog light opening and about 2" recessed from the bumper. I pulled the "nice" bumper off the car, swapped it with my "ugly" bumper on the shelf, and used a Dremel to remove everything from all three openings. I covered the outer two with a piece of gutter guard I had laying around. I'm going to grab another piece tomorrow to do the center. I also cut holes in my splash guard in the shape of big smiley faces for airflow. Not sure why I made them look like faces, I'm guessing it's because I'm tired. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm surprised more people don't use the openings behind the fog light area for coolers...looks good

With that foglight holder / drl hacked out it looks like a totally different bumper. Very nice!

Hacked is a very appropriate word for what I did lol. I hit a semi tire with this bumper a few months ago so my hand was not careful when I hacked this sucker up. I will do something more refined to my "new" bumper. This one with be what I test my ideas on ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I didn't mean it like....HACKED, I meant cut out. Maybe it was a little too harsh of wording. Then again, maybe not. I still like the look!

I kinda like the bumper all hacked up the way that you have it. Maybe use some mesh like on an Evo 8 to finish it off.

I ran out of gutter guard when I made the mesh from the two fog light pockets. Headed to lowes soon to get a piece long enought for the middle =] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
