That's because your "hot days" might get up to 80F.

^This.

Where I live, it can get hot as 120 in the summer and can get -10 in the winter.

I seem to remember it getting down to -30 and below when I lived there. That was more than a decade ago, so maybe global warming is real.

My wife lives up there. We've bought her season passes to a local ski resort for the past five or so years. The past two or three years have had a nearly worthless amount of snow, so this year we're not going to buy a pass. It's just not worth the money, even at the early purchase discounted rates.

Yeah, pass 2~3yrs, it's been pretty crappy. I, myself hibernate in the winter time, so IDC bout snow. Also hate snow cuz it makes my car dirty... specially my BRZ

Actually in Southern Ontario where I am the average summer temperature is 80 but we can go days at a time pushing 100. We also get extensive humidity off the lakes so even the 80 can feel like 100.
Some people do not realize that there is a big part of Canada sticking way down into the US. There are 27 whole or partial states (including small parts of both California and Nevada) north of me.

Of course not. Unless we live along the border or are well-traveled, Canada carries the same mental image as the Arctic Circle. A frozen winter landscape where people live in igloos and hunt for seals in their whaleskin kayaks. It's amazing how many Americans have never even been out of their state.

Yep.
The only three States I have never been to are California, Alaska and Hawaii. Although I have actually seen all three from a destroyer escort we never got close enough to actually say I was there.

You missed out by not stopping in Hawaii; it's very nice there. I'm trying to figure out how I can get back there, if only for a vacation.

I rather take humid heat than dry hot. You know how many time, my arm smell like roasted pork just been out on the sun? lol

I loled at Lotus. I think the Evora looks sick, but no matter how hard I try to convince myself that it'd be a good car to own, I can't. A 911 is less exotic but is way better in every other way.

Lotus is supposed to be about "lightweight" but the Evora isn't lighter than a Porsche which uses a plain old steel chassis, has a heavier engine, heavier transmission, more gizmos, way more airbags etc. Despite a full belly pan, and sacrificing the whole front for a vented hood, the aerodynamics are not impressive.

Lotus needs to make a car that meets American safety standards and has a usable frunk instead of some crappily designed vented hood, which a sensible person might be able to talk themselves into buying for Cayman S money.
