A molded, properly done RB does look wicked though.

Ya I was being all sarcastic and poking the stance guy's general attitude. This would all be so much easier if vocal infection and body language was involved.

I know right. I agree with you though. Did you see the IS300 that was kicked out of Quebec?

True. You did say "potential." Fair enough.

It has been a very long time (I hope) since I've said anything truly critical but I do strongly dislike the whole RB thing. Just a horrible way to fuck up a perfectly nice car. ...IMHO

But do they hold up over the years?

Let me buy a brand new car and chop a nearly irreplaceable portion of it up so I can fit 'things' that were never meant to be.

To my knowledge, fiberglass to metal will eventually fall apart due to expansion and contraction rates. I know nothing of how long it would take to crack, but this process would be further accelerated if parked in outside for long lengths of times.

Yeah, that's what I've always thought. It's just a matter of time before it turns into a soggy, rusty heap.

Hey my Citation had several hundred sheet metal screws in it and looked great from 2 miles away. They didn't help prevent the passenger door panel from blowing off in the wind though. I am also pretty sure that at least one tire on it was stretched since there were no two the same size and I just used whatever I found in the trash.

A lot of the so called "car guys" could use a lesson from the Kanjozoku guys. If you haven't heard of them, please look them up. I promise you won't regret it!

Thank you though! I really appreciate you liking my car

Dealership built it. By the time the accounting ends, it wont have cost $49,000 real dollars.

As a static display, its doing its job. Certainly gets attention.

While they probably dont post on this board, all it would take is one person who considers $49,000 to be chump-change to fall in love with it and its gone. Profit. We all know that those people exist.
