I was referring to the OEM STI lip on a FRS bumper in particular. Not sure what's up with that pic, but it could be the same style lip that's molded for two different bumpers (FRS/BRZ).

Basically the OEM STI lip is made to contour to the shape of the BRZ, and the shapes are vastly different between the FRS and BRZ bumpers.

Looks great!
I'm going the opposite way soon, FRS to BRZ bumper and with the same side skirts hopefully.

Love how these wheels look on the car.

She's almost where I want her to be before I go forced induction after warranty passes, or when I have enough disposable income to not worry about repairs. :P
I really love your drop amount and how flush rims are.

How much have u dropped it? and did u need any LCA to correct negative camber at rear?

Thank you!

hey!

I think the last time I measured it I'm lowered about 1.5 inches (measured stock - lowered height). It's about 6 threads in the front, and 4-5 threads in the rear with the pre-load hand tight.

I do not have any LCA's, the rears are all natural camber.
Camber figures are -1.9/-2.0 front and -2.9/-3.0 in the rear.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for your input!!

Any other suspension mods other than coils?

I heard axle will blow if you have too much negative camber on your rear.

btw, your car is pure sexx lol

nope, just coilovers. I was gonna get sway bars, but a little bird told me it's not worth it for a daily.
Not 100% about the axle, but plenty of people run -3 on daily drivers and have no issues. I think you're thinking of stanced out dudes who have like -4~-5.

And thank you

At the 1.5 inch drop, how does body roll feel compared to stock? I'm in the sticky situation of trying to regain the crispness of the stock setup. Right now I'm on RCE yellows with 17x8 +35 and UHP tires and the body roll, though not inherently detrimental, is starting to annoy me. Its not the Yellows fault. With stock wheels the car is sublime.

Anyways, I'm thinking of going the flex z route and wondering if at this height it neuters roll or enhances it. I might need a more aggressive coilover yet to satisfy my wants. Just trying to gather information.

Sidenote:I follow you on instagram. Worldsofthemind. Beautiful car.

Thanks!

The Flex Z are great for the money. But pretty much any upgraded coil over unit is going to feel alot tighter and have less body roll.

I'm on 4 clicks front and rear, and while the ride is definitely more comfortable than stock IMO, I don't feel any body roll. The steering is heavier since I put the wider wheels on so I do put more force into it when I'm cornering though.

I'll take it for a spin on the way home and see if I notice any under hard cornering though. I hardly remember these things when I'm taking a corner at 75-90 mph lmao.

and thanks! I followed you back

added the mtec shift springs last week, and while the slop is gone, I'm getting kinda tired of having a metal knob (I live in FL and I'm moving to TX...)

I think the next one is going to be a MTEC knob, but we shall see.
The springs are cheap and pretty noticeable mod to do, but it's a bitch to install.

For the right side you'll need a 23MM socket, a 1/2 inch drive and a wobble extension. I ended up cheating with a torque wrench/breakerbar and took my sweet time to do it.
for the left, you need an allen (dunno what size) but it is much easier.

Take a look at Raceseng's shift knobs - I have a blue translucent Ashiko from them with the gear engraving and could not be happier!
