Somebody will pay it. It may not be worth that much to us; but somebody will surely see it and be their "dream Supra" and will get the money together to pay it. Maybe not right now, but eventually.

My Dad sold his Supra for like $85k over 10 years ago. Granted, that car had way more publicity than this car, but he still sold it. Sold it within a couple weeks too.

That's a good question... I don't know what his car currently looks like or what's been done, but even parting the car out he's probably get damn close to that cash.

Though keep in mind MKIII's don't have the same perceived value as a MKIV. I know the Cherry Widebody car didn't go for nearly as much as many people expected.

My only "muscle car" was a '71 Firebird Esprit in root beer brown with a rusted out trunk and slipping automatic transmission. It was actually my first car but it was so awful to drive I sort of just parked it and bought a '77 Celica coupe to drive instead during my last year of high school in '02.

I bought three more Celicas after that, two more coupes and a Liftback for parts. I put several thousand $ into my little black '74 GT coupe which was really an incredible car, inside and out. Sadly, early Celica prices seem to have exploded in the last ten years. I think early Fiat Spiders are now the best bang-for-the-buck in small charismatic driving cars, especially with such great support from http://www.international-auto.com
I think there are a couple of MGB GT's floating around that I would consider a good deal too. Before I got this car that's what was on my radar. Surprisingly it's not as hard to find a decent one as you'd think. I've always had a thing for them as well as 72-74 240Z and the same vintage Celica GT.

The widebody was all that was special about that one. I've ridden in it (firsthand experience with an SP QSV) and seen it up close lots. The parts and detail choices weren't as ...integrated as they could be. It looked awesome cruising and was reasonably fast for stock bottom end and the weight but everything else was 'meh' (maybe not the wheels, but not my thing).

Ok, you may have tons of money in parts but lets be honest, the parts are old as F*&k. The body kit may be JDM and a quality peice but it was fitted like crap. You can spend all of your money on the kit, paint etc...but it's the small details that make it! The exposed rear frame, the misaligned body panels. fact that the engine bay was neglected at paint tells me a lot of other things were too! You will never get your money back on a modded vehicle. If you are going to go all out, then do it right and go ALL OUT. Don't try to build a show quality car, without show quality details!

That's a supra that's on the market 10 years too late. It's value will be lower in today's context. I wouldn't mind owning one like this one I snapped a picture of at the last PAC NW Supra meet.
