Toyota of Mexico was offering name badges for their customer for a limited time, I thought they finished months ago with this.

Oh, I meant physical mail. Most of the time, if a website is asking for your address, it's not so much so that they can send you junk mail. It's so that they can sell your info to other companys so THEY can send you junk mail. More often than not it's harmless.

(I know because it's essentially what I do.)

This is legit, i found this out in early fall on another toyota forum, i don't know if they are still shipping it out i requested 8 more all shipped to various locations. i only got 1

I am impressed that it is legit actually! Don't usually consider myself a skeptic but this looked so fishy!

Now I just can't wait for the inevitable "You put that on your car?" comments and the resulting Bickle moments!

I did not order one, however if it was a scam it's a very well done scam. Even validates for undeliverable postal address. No run of the mill scammer would go that far.

Apparently this was a summer promotion. US site was out of badges. Someone showed me this link, which was for the spanish site? I thought it was legit so I went and filled it out before posting.

Had no errors / issues, and posted here. People are saying that this event is long over and had run out of badges, so we're a bit skeptical.

Site info is owned by a marketing company, and the site is still well built, so if it's a scam / way to gather addresses and emails, it's well done. If not, we'll get badges in about a month.
