Twitter, Facebook and the iPhone are the greatest law-enforcement tools ever. PERSEC only makes it a harder for the average douchebag, but it is still worth the effort.

I'll be the only Y plate BRZ. It won't be that hard, but it would be more difficult to prove without a plate number.

I'm not as crazy as I used to be and the local scene has gotten so boring there's not much emphasis on it like there was back in my AD and early civilian days. All the kids nowadays seem to crash and and take themselves out of the equation quicker than they can skyline themselves.

Theft of stuff is really only a problem if you live on or near base. Those dependent kids are like friggin Jawas! It's still a good idea not to advertise what you have, though.

My inbound BRZ will be pretty boring, though. It's not like the 7 and the R. The BRZ is going to stay pretty much stock. That's why I want it. I don't have to or want to mess with it. I just want a fun DD. Right now the "race cars" are the DDs and they are always breaking and drinking fuel like crazy.

It's a wonderful place where the military guys operating it steal shit out of and off of the car and they move them around with a big forklift.

The cops lurk on car forums looking for information on people who modify and possibly race their cars and have on several occasions used said information to harass people. I have no time or interest in playing that game. It's bad enough when I get a knucklehead airman or Marine at the gate who thinks he's a vehicle inspector trying to mess with me. I don't need the same brand of idiots bothering me from cyberspace.

Man, that really sucks!

That I believe. Things would be better (after the bodies are buried) if I were in charge for a bit. Halving the population of the Urf might seem drastic, but there will be plenty of opportunity for the survivors. FR-S/BRZ owners and family (except those mileage-only spalpeens) are exempt from the purge.

My neighbor swiped a pair of rims off me once. He thought after a month I wouldn't recognize them when they reappeared on his car.

Somebody loosened the oil drain plug on his engine.

His Silvia came home on a rollback a week later with a blown engine. Karma's a bitch.

I never thought of it as an inconvenience, on the contrary in fact. For instance, there will never be a notorious and infamous criminal walking around with my name.
Well, unless I decide to become one of course... But that's rather unlikely, I'm timid.
Wow! Fortunately, I have 3 nephews. Otherwise the line would end for us. There's still hope.

As far as changing careers, it's good to keep all options on the table.

Sounds pretty convenient considering you're in Kalifornistan. I like it.
