So with that said there's a lot of members that talked trash about this FR-S model (fellow FR-S owners) but wait now they want the parts off of it.....facepalm.
Who cares what other people think? Not everyone is going to like your car. I personally wouldn't want a Release Series, but that doesn't stop you from enjoying your car.

You wanting certain parts to be kept away from other 86 owners is just as bad as bashing someone else's car in my opinion.

Considering it would cost upwards of around $12000 to buy the parts and paint the car I don't think you will see many faux RS.1s around!
Will probably see knock off of all these parts on Ebay any day now as well.
I agree with TRD-X in the cars as a whole package should be kept unique but if anybody wanted only one or two parts I don't see an issue with that either.
By simply putting a spoiler or skirts on you are in no way making your car the same as the Release nor taking away from it's uniqueness.

Back in 2012 at the scion release party thingamagig, the Vice President or some other big shot expressed how he wanted all future upgrades to the car to be able to be applied towards the early adopters. I suppose if you have the funds, he is keeping his promise for the most part.

That was said on pretty much day 1.

I did not care about all the parts posted,

I came here hoping to get the part for the TRD trunk mat that comes with this car.

But no.

Thanks though

Awesome set up on the features side for the RS 1.0. High Pricing is just there to deter random purchasing of parts since it's limited IMO. Nobody is going far without a VIN number and a buddy at the parts counter at a dealership if they wanna purchase all the parts to replicate.

I'm not mad I just think this and every other FR-S RS 1.0 thread lately is full of negative replies. With that said "true car enthusiast" don't put down another owners car and the sad thing is this isn't the first time the poor 10 Series FR-S got a beat down also.

btw @funwheeldrive I'm a adult not a child like most of the keyboard warriors here.
btw NEWBIE I'm on my 4th FR-S and your kind of new here so how about reading some post before saying some of the off wall sh!t to me.

Anyone who thinks I care about the members post content here needs to wake up because I don't care about what people post it's the webz.

Shit man, I hope you never meet Tetsuya Tada in person. Or if you do, I would love to see it.

Because how could you have the sack to walk up to someone and tell them that the car that they tried to get made for years, that they designed for the sole purpose of having fun, is wrong?

Opinions are one thing, but you're going around putting down anyone who would dare to want a car that something other than white with gold wheels (no insulting anyone who likes or has that combo, just making a point).

Yes the RS kit is different than the JDM/EUDM kits. Toyota's allowed to make different kits. I don't agree with some of their pricing, but that's neither here nor there. RS 1.0 is the North American market's special edition, one of many with more to come. There are many different versions of this car. Toyota has been working on developing it.

Tada designed it to a "perky" little car, than can also be used daily (look at that trunk space). But it was also built knowing the owners will want to modify it. I mean it's actively encouraged.

So why do you keep getting up in arms about whether or not a part made by Toyota for this car, is wrong for this car.

Like I said, opinions are one thing, but don't shame people just because you don't agree 100%.

The car itself is a Jack of all trades

-The Griffon
-The Full TRD
-The GT-S Areo
-The Scion 10 series
-The Monogram
-The BRZ Series Blue
-The TRD Retro 86
-The TRA-Kyoto Rocket Bunny FR-S (the one exported to japan that still wears its Scion badge)
-The Bee-R 86 (that first showed us how great yellow looked on these cars)
-The GT86 TRD (UK)
-The Bulletproof Auto FR-S

The list goes on.

The Ultimate beauty of this car (or any for that matter) is that you can go in any direction you want. You get to make it what YOU want it to be. So stop worrying/getting mad at what other people are putting on their cars.

You do You.

We're all fans here.

That gigantic post simply because you read his comment wrong. He said the fact that toyota made the frs is wrong. Because Subaru made it, not toyota. He said nothing about the car being wrong....lol.

My 2 cents.
That's rather pretentious

My 2 cents.
This is why i like the biker community over the car community, people can do w.e they want to their cars, you dont gotta insult them for it...

To each their own, just enjoy cars and stfu.

Last time I checked this is the internet and I do live in a country that believes in freedom of speech with that said "I have the right to voice my opinion" and yes everyone has the right to voice their opinion also.

I have my opinion like it or not and I won't change my opinion on this topic.

If you don't agree with me so be it, but like I stated "it's my opinion" so get over it and get on with your lives. Stop taking things on the internet as a personal attack.

It's a privately owned forum meaning you don't have freedom of speech.

Also, you're the one that started this whole issue with calling people posers. You made your bed, now you're sleeping in it...

I made no bed for myself. I've been and I'm a current moderator on forums. If my post hurt anyone's feelings then never join Supraforums.

I stated my opinion and if the children here have butt hurt feelings then I feel sad for them. Really it's the internet.
