Allocation left? If so, how many as far as you know: 0. Supposedly they have 10 on a wait list.

Details of your experience with the dealership: No price mark ups and very informative.
You've got to be kidding! Maybe the subaru dealership is different , which I doubt given the negative consumer opinions towards the Landers McClarty auto dealership empire, but the worst auto transaction i ever experienced (This occurred at age 53) was at Landers McCLarty Nissan in Huntsville when I bought a 370z Nismo. Good God it was painful...It took them 7hours to get me to the F&I rep, not to get financing as I paid cash--only to do paperwork and write them a check. Even though deal was negotiated over the phone, with all terms agreed upon, their lack of any concern for their customer caused me to spend over 10 hours at the dealership, when it should have taken 30 minutes at the most.

Allocation left? If so, how many as far as you know: They continually have 3-5 in stock. Great selection.

Details of your experience with the dealership:
Fantastic, throughout my buying experience, fought Toyota Financing on my behalf to get the %apr that I wanted past closing hours.

Every time I have an issue they are quick to supply a loaner and get the issue fixed. I've suggested to every person I know that is looking at new cars to go to this dealership.

Trust me, I was very skeptical about doing business with them after dealing with the Chevrolet dealership next door to them, granted, it was more of an issue with Chevrolet's service department than their sales team. When I bought my Cobalt SS from them, it was very smooth. And I can say it was just as smooth at Landers McLarty Subaru. And as far as the service department goes, so far, so good But only time will tell. My Cobalt SS started acting up after 14000 miles and from there on, the service department was a nightmare to deal with. I even spoke with the General Manager of the dealership (sits above the Service Department manager), and he was just as useless as the service department manager. I will never buy a vehicle from that dealership. However, like I said, the Subaru dealership wasn't so bad, granted one of the managers there was making it really hard for me to want to do business there, but we finally met at the middle.

Allocation left? If so, how many as far as you know: Physically saw two left on lot - 1) Raven (not sure of transmission, saw it from afar) + 2) Asphalt A/T (parked on showroom floor)

Details of your experience with the dealership: My fiance and I did not have an appointment and seeked out David Maus Toyota after a below par experience at Daytona Beach Toyota. We did not have an appointment nor did we know what David Maus Toyota had in stock. We pulled up to a parking spot and was immediately greeted by Andrew. He is a stand up guy and after we told him of our previous experience he relayed to us that his business is built on trust and he will do everything he can to fight for us. The whole process took approximately 3.5 hours and it was the most pleasant 3.5 hours I've ever spent at a car dealership on a Sunday! Andrew fought to increase the trade amount for my 1996 Mustang to get to the number WE wanted and did so with the utmost professionalism. From the sales floor, to management, and on to financing everyone was a stand up professional and made sure we were honestly comfortable before we took delivery of the car.

*Please see my post in DEALERSHIPS TO AVOID regarding my previous experience*
I'll second this. They actually let me test drive one (unlike Toyota of Orlando), and Luis was an amazing salesperson. He knows a ton about the car, and even helped build the modified FR-S in their showroom. When i was ready to buy, he found an Asphalt one coming off the boat and kept them from installing all the add-ons i didn't want. A couple of weeks later, i drove off in a car with 8 miles on it that was EXACTLY what i wanted.

First of all, I am 26 years old so I was assuming walking in

Steve Blank, Internet Sales Manager, was my rep..
What a nice, down to earth fellow.
Not to mention he treated my with the respect the customer deserves

No markup or added on pricing, he found the exact car I wanted and
he personally drove the car from the other dealership 1 hr away to
have it ready for me THIS WEEEKEND!!!! YAY!!

Tell him Michael, Steve's first FRS sale, sent you!

Dealership Name: Hendrick Toyota of Wilmington

Salesman to talk to: Skip Laskody

Allocation left? If so, how many as far as you know? Two raven (one M/T one A/T), A/T asphalt, A/T Whiteout, M/T firestorm

Details of your experience with the dealership: After dealing with a jerk of a salesman at the Hendrick Toyota/Scion of Apex, and not a lot of help from Leith Toyota of Raleigh, I made the 1.5 hour trip down to Wilmington to meet with Brenden about a M/T Whiteout FR-S I wanted. The day before my trip down, I found out Brenden had been promoted and was no longer doing sales and Skip picked up where he left off. I drove down and met with Skip, who's a young guy and VERY down-to-earth. I loved their FR-S but it had a couple options that I didn't particularly want to pay for, I really just wanted a basic model because I planned on adding stuff on my own. Their's was going for $26.6k but Skip was super helpful and a pleasure to work with. I ended up finding a pretty basic model at another dealer for $26,043 and called Skip to see if they could somehow get that one on their lot because I wanted to buy from him. Instead he price matched for me and and offered me their FR-S with the options for the more basic FR-S's price. I agreed and drove back down there to make the deal. After tax, title, doc, etc, my total came to like $27,something which was still a little high for me. Skip took off $300 more from the sticker price to get my payments where I wanted them with a final sale price of $25.7k. I didn't deal with any BS from him and there were no hidden fees. Skip even offered to meet me halfway between Raleigh and Wilmington when I got to pick up my new car so I didn't have to drive down there again.
Skip was very honest and personable and took me seriously when some other dealers wouldn't (Apparently you can't be 20 and buy your own car without being treated like a child). I 100% recommend Hendrick Toyota of Wilmington and Skip Laskody for making my first car buying experience painless.

Allocation left? If so, how many as far as you know: 1 2013 Raven M/T

Details of your experience with the dealership: It was a great experience. This was my first time buying a new car ,and I was worried about hidden fees and such. But, Cynthia actually gave me a printout that accounted for every single dollar. She also explained all the fees in good detail. I felt pretty comfortable about it. The broker worked for 3 days to get me apporved without a cosigner. Also, he was able to get me a rate I can easily live with. Ultimatley, it was a great first time experience. They also have followed up with me twice over the phone and by email just to make sure everything was still okay.

Details of your experience with the dealership: Our experience was so pleasant that my wife and I went back the following weekend and bought a new Toyota Sienna for her. I had to wait for one to arrive, but they offered a temp vehicle for a business trip up to DC if the FR-S didn't arrive in time for my trip (my CR-V was starting to have issues).
Similar experience for me.

Allocation left? If so, how many as far as you know: Not sure, but they get shipments in regularly.
Details of your experience with the dealership: Wow. I felt like we stole our FR-S. Don't fall for the Scion Pure Pricing BS. MSRP was $28,029. We got it for under $25,000. And they gave us $2,000 more for our trade-in than KBB estimated. They really bent over backwards to make this deal happen and we really needed it because my wife's trade-in vehicle had an APR that was through the roof. And on top of everything, we got the finance guy to write in "TRD Exhaust at dealer cost" on the Authorization for Services Due paper when signing the paperwork. We were joking around saying we really wanted the exhaust and he threw it on there. Sure, its not free, but dealer cost is substantially lower than what consumers pay for the part. We'll find out how much lower soon when I call to get a price quote.

Details of your experience with the dealership: Great dealership, polite salesman, they're trade in value was crap, but the owner went out and looked my truck and gave me what I wanted. After that all was smooth sailing. I never driven a manual, but the salesman knowingly took me out in it and let me test drive it in an empty area. Not only raised the trade in, but lowered the BRZ price as well.

Change of Duty orders from Hawaii to SC. My car was going to take a month to ship so instead of renting a car for a month i decided to buy a car so i called the dealership from Hawaii and told them what i wanted. They didnt have the exact FRS I was looking for so they drove it in from 300 miles away, Bryan picked my wife, my daughter and myself up from the airport with our 8 bags, took us to the dealership had all the paperwork ready, took about an hour to finalize everything. He even drove us to military housing to finalize the lease and helped us carry our bags into our house. I could not have asked for better service!
