I was looking to get out of my 08 WV Rabbit (that I hated)
and was looking at either PRHT MX-5 (had I 99 NB that I loved), 350/370Z or a mustang but I'm very happy I went with a BRZ

Wish I had paid cash for a 12 year old Miata instead of buying the BRZ or kept my almost paid off 135i, but I am happy with the car itself, just a dumbass move financially.

I am a two car person right now. Needed a newer car no matter what. But if didn't buy the BRZ, probably preparing to by a '15 WRX or last years WRX hatchback and been a 1 car person.

Came from a 2002 Z28, no regrets. Handled okay for what it was, with the Koni Yellows I had on it.
If not, I might have either gotten a Fiesta ST (test drove one to compare to the twins) or waited for a 2015 WRX. |

I'd be stuck with people movers (prior cars were an 08 Altima and 11 Accord). I finally have a car that I have fun and enjoy driving!

I would have been in a 2013 wrx and would probably wonder every time I saw a BRZ/FR-S, "What if...?" I made the right decision, I don't wonder at all when I see WRX's or even STi's.

Probably a WRX or another S2000. Totally happy with my BRZ purchase, no regrets at all.

I am happy with my BRZ, no doubt.
But if it didn't exist, either an Elise or a GR WRX would have been the next choice. |

Sold my 350z and had to decide if I wanted heavy and fast (mustang GT) or light and slow. Only thing that makes me second guess my decision is when I hear a GT, love the sound of that coyote engine.

Would've sold my Jeep JK for a Golf GTI or R. Was strongly considering one of them and almost bought one before test driving my FRS.
