Your in my prayers! Stay strong and keep positive! Cancer has hit my house twice in one year, so I may not know first hand on how hard this is for you...but I have an idea. Just remember to keep on eating, no matter how bad the food tastes! You may not be hungry, but always keep on munching on things...and if you are really having a hard time eating, Ensure is a good source of protein.

The main thing is to stay positive, try and keep yourself busy. Eat when it is time to eat, even when you are not hungry...your body needs it even though it is telling you otherwise.

All the best! We are all praying and thinking about you

It really is a matter of fighting back and staying positive. I just finished 6 months of chemo and am still feeling the effects, and might have to do more. But you can do it!!

Good luck to you!

I have heard there is strong evidence that bolsters a correlation between fighting and staying positive and having a successful outcome. At least you're young in the sense of having a strong immune system and able to battle the adverse effects of chemo and rad. I wish you the best of luck and remember you are not alone in this battle.

I lost both of my parents to cancer and was without parents at the age of 19 years old. It's a son of a bitch of a disease. Stomp on it and send the nasty motherfuckers (cancer cells) packing buddy! I am praying for you pal.

My father made it thru stage 4 colon cancer and has been cancer free for 3 years now. He struggled with surgery & treatment, had to SERIOUSLY slow down, and initially had some side effects from the chemo. He stopped work for 6 months (self employed), and had to stop racing his street bike.

Long story short, he has a track day scheduled for the 4th, he has zero long term effects from the treatment, and every 6m blood work has been clean so far!!

Good luck. Keep your head up.

Guess I should update. I have finished my first round of radiation and chemo. Had my resection surgery. They removed about 13" of my colon. I am now undergoing another 6 months of chemo. A drug called Oxyplatin. I get it for 5 hours every other monday. It sucks. It gives me neruopathy. Basically, I cant touch, eat, drink anything that isnt room temperature or warmer. Its brutal. I am a chef, and I cant taste half of my food because it makes my throat and mouth seize up and gives me wicked bad brain freeze. I cant grab boxes out of walk in freezer because my hands go completely numb and I drop stuff. Anyway, at least I dont have to worry about sitting on my hand for "the stranger". LOL. I am however back working on my BRZ. Over the last 3 weeks Ive installed:

Tein Suspension
Cusco Front Strut Tower Bar w/ MCB
Cusco Rear Strut Tower Bar
Cusco Engine Room Power Brace
Cusco Lower Rear Power Brace
Cusco Rear LCA
Tomei UEL
Open Flash Tablet

And a few cosmetic items.
