makes sense, thanks for the info. Good luck- and yes, I would be seeking resolution with that issue as well, I wouldn't want to pay all that money for wheels to get them partially painted.

I've had my TT for almost 12 years and still enjoy it.

Also, I got a set of black RPF1's for the BRZ in Feb and there were no issues with the paint.

seriously all you had to do was pull the wheels and get some matte black spray paint and paint the lug holes, it would take an hour and have saved tons of aggravation i can't understand why you wouldn't have just done this in the beginning.

Because he ordered a product from a reputable manufacturer with expectations on the quality he'd be receiving. When it wasn't up to his expectations, he took it up with his distributer. Same as if you received something that wasn't up to what you thought it would be. Sure, he could have slapped a bandaid on it and passed it to his customer, but he doesn't seem like the dude to pass on half-ass shit to his clientele. He's trying to make it right for his customer, bottom line.

Fwiw, I agree, this is BS. Enkei or TireRack should replace them with a new set.

Especially considering TireRack's site blatantly shows them fully painted, and the unpainted section is not covered by the lugs, etc.

TireRack should take the return, and then submit their own claim with Enkei. If anything, TireRack is to blame here (imo). It'd be extremely unlikely TireRack's contract with Enkei doesn't account for returning (or getting credits/rebates) for defects.
