Just ran a 7.3s 60-130 in my brz this morning. Haven't had a chance to pull the data off the vbox yet so I don't have the exact time. Used the same spot I use on all my 60-130 times so I know the slope is within spec.

EDIT: Just verified data off the vbox 7.33 seconds and less then 3% slope so the time is completely legit.

For those that don't know, 60-130mph is the industry standard used to compare one vehicle to another. In order for the "industry" to accept the time as being correct it must be timed using a Vbox and run on a slope that is less then 3% (ie you cant run the time downhill).

I think I will make a new thread later in the FI section with just data

By industry standard you mean Internet message board and "Mexico" street racing standard. Can I still use a tailwind and sub zero temps?

I like the way you are thinking. What about a faster car in front of you that you can draft as well?

That's awesome Doug! I guess since no one else has posted times, you have the 60-130 record for the 86 chassis now.

Need to get some of the drag teams to run a Vbox when they are making their passes.

that's a seriously quick time! I wonder what you can get mine to do?

By the way, that air to water setup is impressive. I bet there's a market for that on here.

if you click on it, it will take you to an album with a few pictures of his setup. GTX3071, air to water intercooled. Damn it makes me want a gtx30. But I don't think im ready to grenade my transmission yet.

I built a one off turbo kit... custom equal length 4-2-1 the merge is right at the collector. All double slip, with a proper merge.... Tial .82 vband housing with a GTX30r. I also run an Emap sensor that I have setup to trim the cams if differential pressure is to high... IE: long highway pulls. This all blows into a custom AWIC setup that has about 10 inches of piping. Up front I have a very efficient PWR heat exchanger built just for air water intercoolers.

Crappy cell phone pics I took with it all tacked .. but you get the idea

One last crappy cell phone pic... and photo bomb of the revworks header being used to back purge
