I'm afraid we don't have time for one-off projects like that. Our our resources go into developing/testing kits that are more suitable for general population.

I have a question everyone is going to ask though... how long until Vortech E85 Maps are available?

I haven't even started working on it yet. So it may be a while. And it may require injectors/pump upgrade for what little at I know at this time. Definitely will take a lot of testing before it will be made available to the public. Or course, it will be free to our customers. Charging for tunes is so 2013

@shiv@vishnu do you recommend any supporting upgrades prior to getting this kit?

Sure. That's no problem.

Nope. We put it on an otherwise stock car and it's a hoot. Definitely no need for any other drivetrain (clutch/fw/etc,.) mods.

I would love this whole setup. IMO its perfect for what i want to do.

The only problem is i can't run a vortech kit up north year round because of temperatures. Is there any solution for us cold weather people for that 3 months of the year?

I've talked to the engineers at Vortech about this and there is no concern just as long as you warm up the engine (and thus supercharger) before running it hard. Basically common sense stuff. They are just honest enough to disclose the need for this as cold high speed operation is a concern for just about any type of gear driven supercharger.

In the video, is that system resonated or not? Sounds pretty loud. Does it drone at all on the highway?

Non-resonated. No drone at all. And it's not very loud either. I had the gopro right next to the tip to catch the tone of the exhaust. The in car video is more indicative of the volume.

Everyone who has been in the car liked the exhaust note/volume so much (even my 40yr old self), I wouldn't recommend the resonated option unless you want it really quiet.
