just curious why you wouldn't go for the 57xtreme over those reps if you're also considering wedsports which are in the same price range?

Got an older set of SSR type Cs from a local member on the NASIOC forum for $700. Put a ton of time into them cleaning up the road rash and polishing them though.

I really liked these wheels and wanted to get them. Reason I passed is because in my area I see so many vehicles sporting these from Camaros to Mustangs to FR-S to freaking Dodge darts.
I imagine they are really popular because the biggest tire shop around our parts (Discount Tire) sells these and usually is quick to offer them when you ask about an affordable performance wheel. |

'11-'14 WRX wheels can be found pretty much new for <$500. It's a cheap/easy way to upgrade to 17x8.
Here's them on my car with 235/45/17 Michelin Pilot Super Sports.

I'm looking at a set of Enkei wheels. 17x9 with a 45 offset. I'm worried about the offset. Will this be good?

What is with people posting up negative crap? I am sorry that we are all not fortunate enough to have $$$ coming out of our a$$es to be able to afford baller wheels.
Sure, Rotas and the like may shear instead of "bend," but do they actually shear under normal driving condition ie going commuting or long drives? Get off your high horses and quite being elitists. I don't think it was the OP's intention to debate in here. /rant off Awesome lineups/suggestions folks. Keep them coming. |
