Noob question: Do you guys tape up your headlights and/or front bumper to keep rocks from damaging the glass/paint? A buddy of mine who's been to track days before mentioned that it might be a good idea? Or are the cars going to be spread out enough so that we don't have to worry about this type of thing?

Some people do. IMO, it's not going to protect you from chips, but it will prevent tire marks (which are easily cleaned off with rubber remover anyways).

I don't think Lu is handling these anymore. I got a response from Touda instead. Apparently Touda is handling registrations now. I could be wrong, but that's what I was told.

Try touda@extremespeedtrackevents.com

Yes !! It's ok !! Joel
So how will the 86CUP work with other drivers of non-86 cars? Will they join us in the run but only our times will be recorded for the cup?

Sung was very fast with emails. Should contact him.

Anyway, I'm excited for this Saturday! :woot:

Not sure how long it takes to get there though.

Google map says 1.5 hours from my work place.

@CSG Mike, I would really like to know the answer to this question:

So how will the 86CUP work with other drivers of non-86 cars? Will they join us in the run but only our times will be recorded for the cup?

Sung's no longer there, but a lot of people use that e-mail, so Joel answers that one....

The 86CUP is only for FRS/BRZ drivers, so while times are recorded for everyone, the series is internal to us.

There's a few other series running the same day.
