The course creator thing combined with GPS seems like there's a ton of potential there. Go drive your route to work, or your fave local road, then make it into a race track! If it was combined with something like google street view, then you'd have the actual backgrounds too. (Not sure if that last bit is possible just yet, but the technology is there.)

I bet I could get to work really fast with no speed limit!

LOL...so the definition of great physics is determined by whether or not you can put nice wheels on your car. That simple huh..ROFL

Congrats to FRS owners for being the first but I cannot imagine that this wouldn't expand to the BRZ as they are essentially the same car and other cars for that matter. I look forward to using this option on my cars.

Not knocking GT its just hard to go back to it after doing PC sims like iracing and asseta corsa. Where you have constant work on tire model updates on mechanics and race teams helping build many aspects of the vehicles they model. Anyone who has done racing or track time enjoys GT but spends more time on PC sims for more realistic racing and competiton. I cant run my fanatec clubsport and sim rig on xbox or ps3 either or any higher end custom setups. Like to see how people like gt6 but not holding breath.

If only we could get the 86 in iRacing or Assetto Corsa then I think we'd be set...

Looking forward to GT6 myself and trying this GPS to GT6 track creator feature could be cool to try to recreate some of the nice twisty roads I drive a lot around here.

Sounds way cool, has anyone heard how much the GPS Can-System will cost?

What about your Fanatec clubsport makes it unusable on the PS3 compared to other people who use the Clubsport for GranTurismo?

Watching Inside SIM Racing playing Forza 5. One complaint I've read in the comments was that there was no point to the Tyre Wear and Fuel Consumption features because all the racing would end after like 4 laps. Are there any greater distance races in F5 that anyone knows of?

GT5 and GT6 don't support it. You can run the wheel in G27 emulation mode but its not the same as having software support in game for it.
Feels off.

Can't wait for GT7 on the PS4!

And proper high-end wheel/pedal support. Preferably Fanatec.

Hmm...never heard the Inside Sim guys make any complaints about "feeling" off. Beats me.

Many racers (professional and otherwise) use iRacing and GT to pre-learn a track. You can practice apexes, racelines and braking zones. A lot of the younger NASCAR and sportscar racers do it before they actually go to practice on a road course. It is a cost effective way to get additional experience before a race.
