Don't we all.

Here's what I'd do:

1> Email your local dealers online/fleet sales offices. Get their offers.

2> Get a hold of Clint. See what his offer would be, shipped to your door.

With the distance from CO, plus his fee, Clint's pricing will probably be fairly close to invoice up there in PA, so a local dealer may be able to beat it. Go back to your local dealers, tell them that you appreciated their time in giving you a first quote, but you've got one for $xx and you want to know if they are interested in beating/matching it.

Worst they can do is tell you to go pound sand and you buy from Clint. Best they can do is beat the deal and you get a better price and from a local dealer to boot.

Either way it goes, unless PA has some expensive surcharges I don't know about you should be able to do better than MSRP all said and done out the door.

You've said what you paid before -- it was the same as everyone else has from Clint. And the only way you made it under $28,000 with a CA registration was if you somehow got out of some of your taxes or various other expensive fees CA charges.

Which dealer in did you get your car from?

I didn't get out of any taxes. I actually just registered my car last week and only paid $215. A check was cut out for my taxes and was given to the DMV, so there's no way I could have slipped under that.

Herb Gordon Subaru in Silver Spring. All it took was TrueCar.com and then an additional email to get that price. Really easy. They also gave me a great trade-in (they gave me KBB trade-in value).

I actually just got quoted for exactly MSRP and that's OTD at one of my local dealers. I'll talk to Clint, some more local dealers, and then go from there. Next step, choosing the right color... that will take a while.

Well, the good news is there is only 1 wrong color so your chances are good!

WRB and White Pearl were a tough decision for me. In the end it came down to what I thought would hold up better in the long run. Show less scratches, easier to wax, that kind of thing.

Good luck and a premature Welcome to You!

Atlanta GA, I talked my 2013 BRZ Limited manual from $28,800 to $27,250 with free 3year/36k mi service on 9/6/13. Afterwards the dealer said their envoice was $27,333.

If I were anywhere near the West-coast I'd go the Clint route.

Down to personal preference and pricing. I'm 500 miles further away from you (and also Clint), but ended up going with him. As long as you've done you're research and are happy.
