Oh I fully expect they'll sell every convertible they build, in fact MomHawk might even buy one to replace her convertible Mustang. And to me it's all good if it helps keep the product line viable and the aftermarket parts flowing.

Designing a car from the get go as a convertible then adding a hardtop is one of the most awesome ways to produce an amazingly stiff/rigid body shell. See also: Chrysler Crossfire (terrible car but very stiff chassis) Porsche Cayman |

I've owned a car that wasn't designed that way ('83 Z-28 with an aftermarket Targa) so I know what it's like to drive one that wasn't designed for it. It's a trade-off I'm willing to make.

No T-tops for me, I like the aluminum roof. I even hope they don't release the convertible, the twins are already becoming a bit of a chic car in my area. The girls are buying up the auto's in droves.

They actually started a flying roof club on the forum as some would forget to lock them.. And they had separation issues due to the laminate used in the roof.. I like the fixed roof now... |

A little off topic. I'm happy with the roof configuration the way it is but I really wish this thing was a hatchback.
