Hi,

So it came in today and I installed it, but I have some questions since this is the first time I ever installed an intake system.

What are the things I circled and what does it do?
The first image, I tried my best to get the tubing over the hole without bending it, but it looks rather severe... is this ok?

Am I suppose to seal the second image?

Thanks

sound generator can be removed completely. the crank case vent hose can be routed to fit without major kinking as well.

For the second image, if you're too lazy to remove the sound tube, just plug it with this 2" rubber cap for the time being.. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...784#post820784 ..You don't want anything crawling up in there.

Thanks, removed the sound generator. For the other design where it vents to atmosphere, how does that work? Just curious.

Instead of re-routing oil vapor back into your intake (which isn't ideal for performance), venting it just lets the oil vapor escape out to the atmosphere.

You can just plug a filter like this on the end of that crank case vent hose if you want to vent it out away from the intake..

What is the part number for the filter that fits without the removal of the radiator trim pieces? I currently have the AEM Dry Flow which only fits with the trim removed

Just placed my order for one and did not see an option to choose between the two filters any where in the ordering process. Now it is a good possibility that I can be blind at certain times.

Using the k&n filter only now most seemed to prefer it.

Just curious as to whether or not these have to be fabbed up or if they are in stock and ready to ship out.
