I always thought these pictures were taken with a steering wheel in the car (or the car not actually moving)... do people really remove their steering wheel while driving? o_O

I must be really old, cause Ive always assumed that's exactly what was going on in all these picks. I never once imagined these people were taking the wheel off. I just thought it was a stupid fad, like leaving the tag on a hat bill or tow hooks used solely for the sake of hanging stuffed animals on. I guess I gave the human race too much credit, again.

I think so... And if you have a RHD car then it makes things really easy...

Soon we will see a pic or video of one idiot doing this who drops the steering wheel while driving 50 mph... I will be waiting for that one...

not saying this is smart at all or that i agree with him but somebody said that those are paddle shifters and they arent. just wanted to toss that out there. those are just what you pull so the steering wheel disconnects. I used to have one on my wrangler so I can put the wheel in my backpack when i had the doors off or the top down parked.

Dudes a moron for doing this tho.

I blame the advancement in medical technology, back in the day dumb asses just died from their stupidity, natural selection. Now a days we have the medical field to put the dumb asses back together so they can reproduce and give birth to more dumb asses

Not that I condone it, but drifting on public streets is more dangerous IMO.
Did you REALLY just say it's okay to do it at all?
