Yuck... the front looks like a toyota corolla and the back is like a ~2010 civic

No thanks Jeff.. the 86 looks 86x cooler

I think my favorite WRX/STi was the earlier 2000's with the bug eyes.. very cool styling and didn't look like any other econo car

Would I drive the FRS in the snow? Personally I have no need to and would keep it parked. I don't know why people compare these cars. Two different markets; two different cars.

*Edit* I must admit though my Sti was killer fun in the snow. Killer fun in the dry. But I got tired of getting 240Miles per 16gallon tank. I'll take my 310 miles per 14 gallon tank any day of the week as long is it's not snowing.
He didn't compare them. He asked which. A pointless question because 1) we all know which we chose and 2) it's totally personal preference and subject to each person's circumstances.

My advice: if you want to drive a fun sports car, BRZ. If you want to spend another $10k and drive a pig but also get around in winter, STi.

I bought my 2004 WRX brand new and loved every minute of it. Never even considered getting rid of it till I got a wild hair up my ass and bought the BRZ. I don't miss it at all. In the time since, Subaru has made them more boring looking every year and let the Evo blow the STi away.

If only the BRZ came with a turbo this thread wouldn't exist. Fortunately there will be/is a ton of aftermarket, including turbos. I went from an S2000 to a AWD car and I hated every minute of it, that car lasted about 8 months and I was back to RWD. As someone said, if you need AWD for your commute then its the better way to go, if not RWD > AWD.

Voted WRX for two reasons...it would be more practical for me and depends on if its very very close looking to the concept. Still loving the BRZ though...more waiting games lol.

Personally, I'd wait to see the MPG numbers from the new WRX if you're really interested in that model. Otherwise, BRZ all day long.

Love them both. I have 07 WRX STI sedan and the 13 BRZ. I am waiting for the new body style to come out for updating the WRX STI, but I like driving the BRZ more. The WRX STI is way more pratical though. At least for me. With the BRZ its a lot of fun drive but with the WRX STi you can fit more people easier, carry more stuff and for mountain biking i can go the top of the Bradsaw mountains on gladiator road no problem in it. For me the WRX STI doe everything, however every morning when i come out i always take the BRZ because its just way more fun to drive on the paved roads
