What does the update do? Root and install BT driver?

I've got an Android 4.0 dual boot system, it's already rooted but I can't seem to get BT to work. Tried a couple different devices but no luck yet.

Yea, it installs the drivers and APIs necessary to use certain USB bluetooth dongles. The bluetooth built into the units are only able to form connections with cellphones for wireless calling.

Great, thanks. It's even worse on mine - separate hardware for the radio(FM, BT, iPod) and Android.
I'll snoop around in your update file and see if I can find what I need to make mine work.

Yea, I had a unit just like yours. I ended up returning it. It might be different because you're on ICS and this unit runs GB. But let us know if you find out how to make it work!

Will do.

The OS is great and performs nicely but my biggest issue is the boot up time - 3secs to get into radio mode but then another 90secs to get into Android.

As per an earlier concern about the BT calling feature, does anybody know if it still works? I was too caught up with torque working last night to test verify that nothing had broken in the process.

Just an update. I ordered a capacitive version of this head unit and will test the root for it when it comes. I'm hoping it comes in before this weekend because I head off to vacation on Saturday. It was shipped yesterday.
