Nitrous should only be sprayed at WOT. This is also a wet kit. It should not require tune changes but I'd be worried about big shots. I would definitely want to monitor AFR, knock and possibly reduce spark timing when pushing it. Old school you'd make a run and "read" the plugs for lean/rich conditions. Not possible with this car.

Has anyone ran nitrous road racing or autox'ing before? I've only seen it used in drag racing applications or any other straight line competition. I think it would become tricky to use when turning is involved because it comes on so abruptly like a sudden boost hit imo.

The guy I purchased my kit from many years ago used it in autox in his Prelude SH. Not sure how well it worked though...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe any SCCA events prohibits nitrous oxide for being on the premises. Also Red line Time Attack restricts the use of it. At least this IS how it all was when I participated heavily...

TA many events around the world allow for the use of nitrous, as well as d1gp.... not too familiar with the US D1 restrictions.

Not trying to have a go at you but in your opinion, what is the point of the car?

Nitrous works but its never been worth the hassle and the power curve is way too abruptly changing for track use IMO.
You should use a slightly colder plug, at least that's what the domestics did.

nitrous? Oh you mean NOS lol, anyway I knew a guy that used it in autocross to spool off the line.

The car was built for fun vs just autocross so it was kinda sluggish on such a small course never getting higher than 3rd gear.

No the point that not a single legitimate racing team team uses NO2 anywhere other than a drag strip. And then the point that very LAST form of racing this car was designed, engineered, and built for, was drag racing.
