Is there any reason you would not recommend the JRZ RS1 over the JRZ RZ even thou they are monotube like the SRC and the pros? Interested in why as racecomp seems to recommend the rs1 over the rs.

The RS1 is a 1-way adjustable damper. While that one adjustment changes both compression AND rebound, it may not be able to provide the fine adjustment that our hardcore clients may prefer.

If you want something with simple adjustability, then the RS1 may be perfect for your needs.

Given that the SRC is geared toward a more performance oriented crowd who tends to be more open to playing around with settings, I would steer them toward the RS or RS-Pro for comparison.

The RS1 is something closer to a Ohlins DFV. Solid brand, solid quality, but single adjustable for ease. You can't go wrong with them, but my personal preference is to have more control over my damper adjustments.

We recommend the RS1 over the RS because we have spent quite a bit of time with both dampers and found the RS1 to simply be the better performing damper. The RS1 is a single adjustable monotube while the RS is a double adjustable twintube. JRZ does a much better job with monotubes than they do twintubes. You do give up the double adjustable damping though, which is why the RS Pro is the best of both worlds (but they cost quite a bit more, more than these Teins IIRC).

Do the helper springs come included in the base price or is that an extra/optional fee?

Helpers are included for the rears (don't need them in the front).

The TEIN SRC comes with its own front camber plates designed specifically for that setup.

Camber plates are included, but if you'd like to use your own, you're more than welcome to (but you'll have an extra set of Tein camber plates...)

Just wanted to show how much roll you get with just these coilovers alone. Everything else suspension wise is OEM. Check out that flat cornering!

I just wanted to revive this thread to tell you guys how great these things are. I installed them today and had them aligned and the car is transformed into a completely different car compared to the GC kit I had on it before.

The ride is on par with the KW's (which have a much lower spring rate and less control at the limit) and very comfortable, even over the horrible pavement that is the 55 FWY when going over edinger (think whoops in motocross).

The handling balance is excellent and the control over bumps is superb (compared to the GC kit ad the V3's)

I'll try to post more as I drive the car more, but as of right now, this is the best suspension I have owned, and worth every penny (and I'm a cheap bastard)

Big shout out to CSG Mike for helping me get a hold of them at a great deal and to Emerson at TEIN for the install and alignment.
