However long since you last cleared it. Just like you clear your trip meter, you can clear your average MPG the same way. It took me a while to figure that out, now I do it every time I fill up.

That would have been a better way to put it. Cleared it once haven't bothered since; it's usually a few points off from my calculated mpg anyway.

I would have never thought to try that. Just push and hold I assume. Thanks! This is one small thing that I was wishing the car had.

10.6mpg at the track over three tanks. 24.0 mpg for my mostly city driving.

Same here, coming from a WRX and Legacy you could see your average MPG on each trip, so I was bummed when I thought it was the cars average MPG. Then I found you can hold and reset it

On the Highway, flat, cruise on @ 70mph(2200rpm) 34.9mpg calculated. Average on CPU said 36. I wasn't "hyper-milaging" or anything, just being peaceful during break-in, every now and then I'd select 5th for the rpm change, average in town which is mostly "rural" up here anyway 26. After break-in complete I have gotten as low as 16, right foot issue, but a blast!
